You must be an Freedomstarr customer to use this Calling Card service. Click here to sign up. How long will it take for my Calling Card service to be activated? Your Calling Card service will be activated within one hour of completing the simple signup process. How and when will I be billed? Your Calling Card calls, with full call detail, will appear as a new, separate line item on your Freedomstarr statement. Your total monthly Calling Card usage will be added to your other Freedomstarr charges and your credit card will continue to be billed monthly as "Freedomstarr LD" What charge will appear on my credit card bill? The charge will appear as: "Freedomstarr LD." Is there an initiation fee or a monthly minimum? No, with Freedomstarr there is no service initiation fee and there is no monthly minumum for your Calling Card itself. Your Calling Card usage will accumulate toward your total monthly usage if you are on the Flat Rate Plan. Will there be any additional charges on my statement? Federally mandated fees including Federal Excise Tax, Universal Service Fund, and Telecommunications Relay Service will appear on your monthly bill. Also, depending on where your phone numbers are located, you may be subject to state, county or city taxes. What are the time increments for billing calls? Calling Card calls will be billed in one-minute increments Can I call Directory Assistance when using my Calling Card? Of course, Directory Assistance is available to Freedomstarr Calling Card users. There is a $1.25 charge for each call. Can I use Operator Assistance when using my Calling Card? No, operator assistance is not available when using the Freedomstarr Calling Card. Can I use my Calling Card from a pay phone? Yes, you can use your Freedomstarr Calling Card from any phone. Please note that calls from pay phones are subject to a Federal Communications Commission charge of 60¢. Can I call another country using my Freedomstarr Calling Card? You can call any country in the world using your Freedomstarr Calling Card. Remember to use the appropriate country code for the country you are calling. For international codes click here. Can I use my Calling Card while I am abroad to call the U.S.? Yes, you can. Before you travel abroad, contact our Care Team at the number above to set up your functionality. How long does it take to set up my card for use from abroad? Twenty-four hours is the current set up time. Can I choose my account number? Yes, you may specify your account number when you sign up. Can I choose my PIN? Yes, you may specify your PIN when you sign up. How do I change my PIN? Only you can change your PIN. Do this by accessing your My Account page of the Freedomstarr website. From the Calling Card Section of the navigation menu, select "Edit Card." You will be prompted to select a new PIN and confirm your selection. What if I forget my PIN? If you forget your PIN, access your My Account page at the Freedomstarr website. From the Calling Card Section of the navigation bar, select "Edit Card." You will be prompted to select a new PIN and confirm your selection. Alternatively, call Customer Care at the number above. Will I receive a Calling Card in the mail? No, you will not receive an actual card in the mail. You will receive a welcome email detailing your account number as well as the access number and instructions for using the card. What are the international Calling Card rates? To check international Calling Card rates, call our Customer Care Center at the number above. How do I use my Calling Card here in the U.S.? To use your card follow these easy steps
Before you travel abroad, contact our Care Center at the number above to have your card set up for international use. Can I have more than one card? Yes. You may have as many cards as you like on your account. You will need to specify a different number for each card as part of the sign-up process. Can I receive voice prompts in a language other than English when I use my Card? Yes, you can change the language that you will hear the prompts in. English is the default language and you can make the change from your My Account page of the Freedomstarr website. Prompt languages available are: Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. How do I contact Customer
