To sign up for your Monthly Calling Plan contact Customer Care at the number above. How long will it take for my Monthly Calling Plan to be activated? You will receive a welcome kit with all your Monthly Calling Plan information one to five business days after we receive your order. Once you receive your welcome kit, you can start using your service immediately. How does the Monthly Calling Plan work? It's so simple! After entering your personal and credit card information, you'll receive a welcome email with all the instructions. It will include a 10-digit access telephone number that you dial to access the calling network and a 10-digit Account Code that is uniquely yours. When you dial the access number, just input the Account Code and you can then dial any telephone number in the United States. It's that easy! Do I always need to enter my Account Code? No!! You can use your home phone number as your Account Code. When you dial the access number from home, our system will automatically recognize your number, so you will not need to enter your Account Code. You simply dial the access number and, when prompted, dial the number you're calling. Only if you are calling from a telephone other than your home phone will you need to enter your Account Code. How much does the Monthly Calling Plan cost? You can purchase one of three plans depending on your usage:
On the 20th day of your billing cycle, we will notify you that we will be charging your credit card on day 30 of your cycle, and crediting your account for the next month's service. We will then notify you that the charge has been successful. That notification will serve as your receipt for that month's service. We will charge your credit card directly in this manner every 30 days. Please note that Freedomstarr charges to your credit card for your calling plan will appear on your credit card statement as "AMR*LD Service Plan." What charge will appear on my credit card bill? The charge will appear as: AMR*LD Service Plan. Is there a service initiation fee or any other hidden charges? There is no service initiation fee or any other charge to begin using the Monthly Calling Plan. How do I pay for the Monthly Calling Plan? Payment for the Monthly Calling Plan is with your credit card. We accept, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. There are no paper bills or postage costs to worry about. Using your credit card helps us give you a great rate. What if I forget my Account Code? If you forget your Account Code, call Customer Care at the number above. What do I do if I use up my minutes before the end of the month? If you run out of minutes before the end of the billing month, call us at 1-800-741-0744 and one of our Customer Care Advocates will assist you. Can I call Alaska and Hawaii with the Monthly Calling Plan? Yes, you can call anywhere in the 50 United States. Can I make international calls with this plan? No, this plan may only be used for calls in the 50 United States. Can I call at anytime? Yes. Call anyone, anywhere, anytime...whenever you want! The rates stay the same at all times. The choice is yours! Can I keep my current telephone service? Yes! Our service works independently of any other Long Distance provider. You will not need to make any changes in your service. Do I have to commit to a long-term contract? No. There is no obligation or long-term contract at all. If you decide you are no longer happy with the service, call our Customer Care Center at the number above and a Customer Care Advocate will assist you to cancel your service.
